Peter has over 30 years experience in the financial sector. Commencing his career in public accounting, he spent 7 years managing taxation and financial accounting matters for small-medium businesses and high net worth individuals.

Over the next 15 years,  Peter held a number of roles at major Australian, European and American investment banks in London and Melbourne. These included front and middle office roles in equities, fixed income and derivatives at Credit Suisse First Boston,  Goldman Sachs, Salomon Brothers and Morgan Stanley as well as senior project management roles in financial and trading systems implementation, risk and compliance, and treasury at ANZ bank.

He then co-founded and was Managing Director of a Melbourne based craft brewing company, growing it into a key player in this emerging sector with national and international ranging across major retailers and venues. In 2016 he was pivotal in advising and negotiating on the sale of the company to a national hospitality group.

After operating as a private lender for several years, Peter founded the Brookvale Capital group in 2017 to provide financing solutions to borrowers who had genuine and quality projects, but who were being overlooked by traditional lending institutions.

​

Peter holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree, (majoring in accounting) and has completed the Certified Practicing Accountants program  (CPA).
